|
Just like the Salaat times on your mobile, you can now get the Jamaat Programme on your phone!
As the Jamaat programme calendar is continuously updated, unlike the Salaat times calendar, we suggest you add this calendar using Google Calendar, then sync it with your mobile. Do this by adding the calendar to your Google Calendar by clicking here.
- For Blackberry users, this is exactly the same process as with the Salaat times calendar. Instructions below.
- For iPhone users, you can either use Microsoft Exchange (instructions here) or via CalDAV (instructions here). We recommend CalDAV. See screenshot below.
- For all other devices, you can use Google Sync (instructions here) or if you do not want to use Google Sync, click here.
- For Microsoft Outlook, add the .ICS file
BlackBerry
- Add the Jamaat Programme calendar to your Google calendar using the instructions above.
- Install the Google Mobile App for Blackberry phones
- Sync your Google calendar with your Blackberry
To install the Google Mobile App for BlackBerry phones, follow these general steps:
- Go to m.google.com on your phone's mobile web browser.
- Select Download Google Mobile App from the top of the page.
- Accept the download.
- After installation, you'll find the 'Google Mobile App' icon on your device with your other downloaded apps either in the 'Applications' folder or on your home screen.
- Open the app and login to your google account.
- Select Sync but turn off 'reminders' in the options menu to turn off all alarms.
- Select which calendars you want to sync.
By default Google Sync will only download events for your main Calendar. If you would like to synchronize additional calendars you can select them on the 'Google Sync > Options' screen.
